This place is cool! Definitely an experience being around tame animals of all sorts. Heck they even have porcupines and all sorts of stuff. You can buy food and attract all sorts of animals, probably a good idea to buy more than just one cup of feed. It did smell kinda rancid when you first enter the house with reptiles and birds but that's kinda to be expected in an enclosed area. Your missing out if you don't go.

I have no words to express what a special place this is. The kids (aged 3-9) were able to interact with incredible animals while learning about them and how to take care of them. These animals are so lucky to be looked after by such caring staff. Cammie and Lane truly went above and beyond. They let us enjoy the animals and everything the zoo has to offer way past closing; it is evident how much they love each and every animal they help (save!). If only I could give more stars! Thank you HRC for making our trip to OK so memorable! Will definitely be back soon!

Great spot to pet animals and learn more about them. The staff was very knowledgeable and kind. I really enjoyed the variety and spent about 1.5 hours here. My favorite animals were the deer and camel. Admission was 15 for adults, and a cup of feed was 5. Would absolutely come here again.

The Hochawtown Oklahoma Rescue Center is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get. Owned by my mom’s cousin Tammy, this place truly stands out with its exceptional care for animals. The facility is accessible and well-organized, and the animals are clearly loved and well cared for. One of the highlights is the opportunity to feed the animals for an extra fee, which adds a personal and interactive touch to the visit. The joy and satisfaction from engaging with the animals are unmatched. If you’re looking to support a worthy cause while enjoying a unique experience, Hochawtown is the place to go. Highly recommended!
