a year agoWe had the best time camping here - we even extended our stay! Josie was a real treat. She loves each and every animal on the farm. She let us help with the feeding of the animals which we were so keen to do. We even got to bottle feed a baby goat. Our campsite was lovely. The grass was lush, the amenities clean, it was quiet and spacious. I would absolutely recommend stopping by here if you’re ever in the area.

2 years agoLove love loved this place! It costs $10 for entry (or it did when we came earlier in the year), and it was just a great experience. You have to call beforehand (probably minimum a days notice) to make sure they’re in and can do the tour (pending numbers), so keep that in mind. It is run by a lady and her daughter. The lady who runs it is full of personality and energy. She loves what she does and has a passion for her animals. She guided us through and was super friendly about everything. We had the opportunity to feed so many different animals and get up close and personal with ALPACAS! I loved it all and would definitely recommend the drive up. In total, the tour was probably 2hours or so (but we did spend more time having a look at the animals, so it may have been shorter)

a year agoGreat accomodation, family friendly. Clean ammenities. $30 per night for a powered site, $20 for unpowered. Children extra ($5 each). Can then tour the farm as you please during daylight hours and outside of paid tour times (10-1 each day). Central location, easy to drive to other local attractions in Mackay and surrounds. Staff are friendly and accomodating.

2 years agoGreat place to visit and also camp $20 toilet/shower. Wonderful variety of animals and birds. We loved it thankyou. Were lucky enough to see one of the alpacas give birt this morning..Josie you are amazing!!

2 years agoAmazing place filled with heaps of animals. Kids had the best time learning and feeding every animal there. Great morning out with family.
