Such a great place for everyone! It’s great to learn the story of each farm pet, the pets are so well taken care of, and so friendly! Please come to visit and support the farm! Or make donations on their website! They deserve it!

On their website they indicate that they are open - we drove over an hour to get there and there were no animals or signs, the owner came out and said they had closed down and that the website should have been updated, but it was not. She gave us the information of the person who took the animals, she said that they would be more than happy to walk us around and talk about the animals we just needed to bring our own food. So, we drove an HOUR to the place that she gave us all the information for only to find out that it is a private farm and the owners never agreed to take on visitors. We obviously made the mistake of trusting their website vs Google as Google states it is TEMPORARILY closed not permanently and this apparently happened MONTHS ago. Unbelievable.

Donna and Barry are a very kind and welcoming couple. My family and I visited their rescue farm this morning and got to meet all the wonderful animals and hear their story. They drop everything they’re doing to give tours when visitors come in and are very passionate about what they do and very loving towards the animals. I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to come visit their farm. It’s definitely a different experience.

Heart touching experience. Everything about this place has a wonderful story behind it. If there were more people like Donna and Barry in the world it would be a better place. I am certain the animals at the farm would agree as well. This rescue farm is not a professional money making business, but a family BUILT and run rescue farm that has opened it's doors to the public. If you are in the Bon Echo area or even passing through on your way to Ottawa or surrounding areas I highly recommend stopping here to recharge your emotional batteries.

We had a great time learning about each animals backstory of how they each came to be rescued. This isn't a typical petting zoo, you receive a far more hands on experience where you can interact with the animals more directly (hugging donkeys, brushing the horses) All animals are rescued and the proceeds of the admissions go directly towards the cost of caring for the animals
