What a wonderful family day! We had 4 generations in our party. Ages 2.5 - 72 and there was something for everyone to enjoy. Very thoughtfully laid out, handicapped accessible & the activities were engaging. I loved that nearly everything was included in the ticket price (except food/drink) so that once you were in the kids (and adults) could play as much as we wanted.
Family favorites were:
Papaw, Granddad: Apple shooting range
Mamaw & Grammy: Flower fields & watching our granddaughter have a great time
Mom & Dad: All the animals & Giant slide
Mom& Grammy: Bubble station
Granddaughter: Corn crib & Train ride
We have a child with special needs and a feeding tube. They allowed us to bring in feeding supplies for him, which was lovely - not every place does this which is super annoying because we can't just get him to eat orally - if we could we would. It's a small thing but deeply appreciated.
My son had a blast, and surprisingly so did my 12 year old niece. I would say 12/13 is probably the oldest range for the farm unless it's in the fall for apple and pumpkin picking.
This is our second time going, and we've decided this year we will be getting our family a season pass because our child enjoyed it so much. He even fed some of the animals.
The birds are his favorite but sadly we only had 2 minutes with them because that area closes earlier - we didn't see that online otherwise we would've planned ahead - but we know for next time. He loves looking at them and watching them eat the bird seed. I do think the seed is pricey for how much you get and how fast it's gone.
This is only a half hour away from our home, and it's definitely a fun way to spend the day. It was also fun to take some visitors from out of state.
It's something my niece will remember for years to come.
This place is amazing! Great for kids all ages and adults! My husband and I had a blast they sell alcohol you can feed almost all the animals. The staff was extremely friendly. Make sure you buy tickets for encounters online before going. We went from 9 am to 11 on a Monday and we didn't have to wait for anything. This place is extremely clean hand washing stations every where! Highly recommend!!!! If you want to see the sloths up and moving go at 1015 am!
What a great place to bring your family for a fun filled day!!! Even stuff for the adults to do! This was probably the best place I've ever taken my 16 month old.. Best bang for your buck.. if we lived closer we would buy the seasonal passes!! Plenty of bathrooms, options for food, and activities for the kiddos.. the petting zoo is top notch and the splash pad was an added bonus! I've never given a 5 star review but they earned it! WE WILL BE BACK!!
We went for a birthday and had an absolute blast! I had only just heard about the joys that the Lewis Adventure Farm and Zoo has to offer the night before and could wait to come. We arrived just as the doors opened and stayed until almost closing time. The food was great the desserts were even better. Make sure to buy the souvenir cup it was well worth it for the refills. We will be back!
