wonderful place. Very colorful. Not many animals, but ok for a good experience. I feel a little sorry for the pony in the cramped enclosure. gorgeous turkey. and a lot of beautiful roosters. Lots of places for beautiful photos.

Well, they say it's a "Petting Zoo" type place, but you cant truly pet anything except the horses. The bunnies are all wild and obviously don't want us people. The donkeys are fine and nice, but kids can get bored easily. There are (2) big pigs there, but there goal is napping. You can have your kids ride a pony around in a small circle for $5.00. A price break should be given if you have 3 children or over. Face painting available too, but pricey if you have multiples. You get a free pumpkin when you leave and a small bag of carrots for your Littles. There is a bunch of horse poop that is very unsanitary to be around. It should have a tarp over it for fly control and it shouldn't be accessible for us visitors. The corn maze was sweet. There are Port-O-Potties available. There are many, many pigeons and chickens running loose.

Been going to Mckee Ranch for years now, in prior years I would have rated jr highly. This year I have been 2 times, both disappointing. None of the animals are in clean enclosures. I work with exotic animals in a similar setup and it is not difficult to clean up a little here and there. In one of the goat enclosures I noticed a dead pigeon just rotting in the hay. The water is low and filled with algae. Any animal living in an outdoor setting should at least get algae scrubbed out. The animals themselves are in terrible condition. To my understanding, not all of the horses and goats belong to the ranch, however, they should enforce good care of the animals regardless. Richard the large horse had an extremely overgrown hoof, it was wet, and covered in flies. Potentially being a sign of infection. There was a tan goat who's nails were so extremely overgrown it could not walk. Depressing to even watch it struggle to come get food. The pigs tusks were extremely overgrown, I understand it's not an easy thing to care for, but a vet should step in. The pigs eyes all looked very funky as well, very gooey. The entire place has fallen apart over the years, and sadly this year will likely be my last visit. The amount of flies were insane, I know that's natural. But they make fly sprays for rather cheap you can purchase on Chewy. Or any pet store for that matter.

This place was great! The staff running everything were very friendly and helpful. If you have kids you have to bring them here. My two year old was able to feed horses, pigs, rosters and a few other animals. They also give hay rides and horse rides. Plus there are plenty of spots to get your insta gram photos taken :). The cost is a $20 donation but I recommend give a little more, it’s totally worth it.
