a week agoMuscoot Farms is a great place to visit if you’re nearby. They’re open everyday from 10AM-4PM. With a farmers market open on Sundays till 2:30PM. There are many animals to see and great hiking trails and there are many amenities offered. And the best part is it’s completely free! The farm is a great place to visit with family or friends and learn about its rich history and witness many animals in their natural habitat. They also offer cheap hay rides which tour the entirety of the farm. There’s also a great outdoor dining area and shop which sells many fried foods and chilled treats. Overall a nice place to stop by and see some furry friends!

5 months agoWe had a lovely visit at Muscoot Farm. We brought our stroller for our 5 month old and would have been better off baby wearing instead bc the gravel path does make it a very bumpy ride. It was a beautiful day, we took a stroll to see the animals and napped under a big tree. Next time we will pack a lunch and eat at the picnic tables. Be aware that they do close parking lot when the farm closes (check the times but they also announce multiple times over loud speaker). We saw a few people arriving a few minutes before closing and they looked annoyed that they had to turn around to their vehicles- just plan accordingly! We did not get a chance to check out the activity building but I know we will be back as our little one gets older!
