About the Farm:
Oak Ridge Farm is a 200-acre working farm located near Dousman, Wisconsin. It is a part of Milwaukee Recreation and offers educational field trips for students of all ages. Students can learn about farm life, animals, crops, and agriculture through hands-on activities.
Services:
Some of the activities offered include:
- Wagon rides to see the crops and farm animals
- Milking demonstrations and butter-churning
- Planting and harvesting crops
- Learning about the history of Wisconsin farming
- Seeing baby animals in the winter and spring
- Making beeswax candles
- Snowshoeing through the forest

a month agoOur summer camp did the "Dairy Day" and they had so much fun! Ages 5-12 years old and everyone loved it, chaperones loved it, it was a great day. We would definitely return each year!

6 years agoI'm not sure if this is the same farm I visited when I was in K5. That was in 1982. I remember going to a Oakridge farm and it was a fun and exciting experience. :)
