Geared towards the little ones, but was big fun for everyone. Not the largest of farms but was perfectly sized for all the little kids on the trip. They were very professional, polite, and prepared. They know how to keep the children engaged and excited.

Let me start off with first stating, Melanie was really nice and tried to accommodate us through our 4 day stay. The farm is small enough to visit all the animals easily and they love when you do. The cows and baby chicks were a family fav. The loft is an open area with 2 twin bunk beds and a queen. ***fyi***there’s no privacy! The bunks are very comfortable, in fact we slept in one for 2 nights. You may ask yourself why??? The queen, is really soft and caves in. There’s 2 baths with showers only, they’re nice, made for smaller individuals, moderate water pressure but they do the job. Remember, you’re in the country so there’s a 20 minute drive to Pineville for a run. But it’s not a bad drive! Only water to use in outside or bathroom. No water in mini kitchen that has a microwave, full fridge, coffee maker. Pros: -Animals: cows, sheep, goats, pigs, chicks, rabbits, a horse and shetland ponies. Forgive me if I missed anything. -Property size -Host Melanie -Able to feed animals all day and night -Well working a/c - Horse back ride -AW Drive In a must try hamburger Cons: -No privacy -Queen bed to soft -NO Running water or Light in kitchen -All cooking done outside on a griddle/grill set -Hard to locate needed items (screwers etc) -Items had to be requested upon arrival (spoons, toilet paper etc) -Not handicapped friendly All in all… it’s a nice getaway for the kiddos to visit, see, play with, feed, love on all the animals. Experience nature on a small scale which is a plus in my book. There’s no nature trails that I’m aware of, but I’m not sure if I’d go on any if they were. They’re looking into putting in a kitchenette eventually so read.
