This was our second time out. My 16 yr old went along with grandbabies (3 & 5). Everyone had fun and enjoyed our day. The museum was a hit, the petting zoo section has the most adorable Highland Cow, with little dishes of feed for only $1... a lot better than those gumball machines that dispense a small amount for quarters! It's not too large of a place so you won't get worn out halfway thru. It also has a playground to let the Littles burn off more energy. We did both the walk thru and the drive thru parts. There were a variety of animals that you get to see up close just wandering around. I definitely recommend for a nice inexpensive day!
We only did the drive thru, went at our own pace. Got to see others doing the drive experience and all animals approach them, which may have felt too insecure for us. Great experience if you’re in the area, definitely recommend.
We recently had an amazing experience at Aikman Wildlife Adventure! We decided to do the behind-the-scenes adventure and I must say, it was totally worth it! The walking portion of the tour was simply delightful as my twin 2-year-olds had an absolute blast hugging the smaller animals. The adults, on the other hand, had a thrilling time trying to outrun Randy on the UTV. It was truly a privilege to witness the owner's bond with the animals. We could sense how much these animals mean to them, almost like they are family. Overall, it was a wonderful day, and I would highly recommend Aikman Wildlife Adventure to anyone who loves animals and adventure.
