5 ⭐ for sure! My daughter and I had an amazing day! Tessa was so informative on our walking tour. She was fun and witty. Coffey was very educational and made learning about the deer, 3 banded armadillos, hedgehog, chinchilla, capybara and the camels so much fun! My daughter and I really enjoyed the small animal encounter and the camel encounter the best. Who would have thought camels were so cool. We spent 3 hours there and could've spent a few more hours there. Totally worth the money!
What an absolute gem of a find!! I was surprised with a trip to North Georgia Wildlife Park and the opportunity to do the Otter Splash experience. I am generally hesitant to visit zoos and the like as I usually feel bad for the animals. I was so impressed with the obvious care and love that goes into the upkeep and treatment of the animals here. It was so clean and there was always staff checking on the animals and around to answer and questions. The otter splash was a bucket list item for me and I could not have asked for a better experience. We are already planning a trip back to do the reptile experience with my son!
I took my family to visit and we had a great experience. The Safari was not what I expected since they were still in there fence. There was a loop that we drove in and Ethel had a couple of animals there and we got to feed them and the kids had fun. We laughed and enjoyed feeding them . We also did the capybara greet and meet. Do pick one of the greet and meet package.
Pretty cool experience! Loved feeding carrots to the animals! A few enclosures seemed small like the one for the flamingos, but overall well-kept with plenty of staff who seemed to care.
Reasonably priced, friendly staff, and wonderful animals experiences! Spent the entire day here with my preteen and we both had a great time. Shout out to Coffey, who was awesome with our small mammal and deer experiences, and to our lovely tour guide through the zoo (great information, very well done).
The Capybaras were so sweet and fun to feed and learn more about. The many goats, sheep, cows, and alpacas were awesome. The safari drive was a hoot all by itself. And the kiddo loved belly rubbing a hairy piggy to sleep.
Ridiculous!
Don't ignore the request to wear closed toes shoes and proper attire. Wear sunscreen, consider brining wet wipes and pack a lunch. We gave the car (and ourselves!) a good scrub down after the visit. Totally worth it and we will return!
