Cute and clean little zoo. Seems like they are caring for the right animals that need the help. I would love for them to have the story of each animal there. There’s also a petting zoo. The big cats were so cool to look at. Also had a bear that brain trauma and a three legged big cat. Overall cheap, fun and clean place to bring the kids or a fun way to start a date!
The price for entry is $2, it’s relatively small compared to other zoos but it was actually worth it! Most of the animals they have are in rehabilitation, so they are being cared for. This is a perfect place to take the kiddos as you can pet goats and even feed them. They also have some interesting reptiles. Definitely worth it.
Phenomenal! I'll compare every Zoo to this one moving forward. Price VERY IMPRESSIVE $2!!!! Parking for the park was $3. Quaint yet packs a punch! The Black Panther was by far my favorite. Our daughter loved the petting area (goats).
Just wow. Haven’t been since I was a kid and holy cow have they improved. Every single enclosure I saw was super clean and the animals looked to be in great health. All of the staff are friendly and do really cool keeper chats that are engaging for all ages. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon and on my birthday at that.
Delightful small zoo. Perfect for a couple of hours. The enclosures are attractive, the animals were out and active during our morning visit. Staff was friendly and informative. We even got to pet a snake. Visit the goat pen and give the goats a brushing with their brush pads. You'll see bears, jaguars, mountain lions, bobcat, coyotes, a giant tortoise, peacocks, and birds of prey to name a few. Entrance fee was $2, entrance to the park was $5/car. The park has playgrounds, picnic tables, surrey bikes, and pedal boats, so pack a picnic lunch.
