Great simple zoo...plenty of animals to pet. About 20-30 minutes to go thru slowly and to feed some of the animals. You can buy food to feed some of the animals. We went June 2024 and saw a camel, zebra, goats, ostriches, bunnies, Llama, and many more! 5-15 from wineries and has wine tasting on site also.
Gelato on site was great too!
This place was a lot of fun. It’s a small zoo but worth the walk around. You can feed the animals but not the larger ones. At the entrance is a bird that loves men and will crawl around you. But be wary just like the camel (Zeus) they like kisses and will take your glasses and hat off. They do have a handwashing station by the gift shop. The Gift shop is filled with delicious chocolate and gelato.
We tried to book online but got confused so decided to wait to pay in-person. We definitely would have overpaid had we gone the online route.
The only animals that looked /happy/ were the pigs that were roaming around freely.
Wow, I came for my 42 birthday to get away from the city. The animals are rescued and love the affection. It was awesome and memorable. Great chocolate too.
We stopped by here before my wedding to calm my nerves. Felt weird showing up four dudes deep and no kids but the staff were very friendly and chopped it up with us. Plenty of things for the kids to do such as a rabbit pen and the opportunity to hand feed some of the animals. Cool place to check out some exotic animals and pretty views of the surrounding area.
