a week agoWhat a pleasant surprise and so glad I was wrong. Tanganyika Wildlife Park was by far one of my favorite experiences to date. Petting, feeding, and learning about these animals was well worth the price. If I had one complaint it would be the food service was so slow that it impacted our time to fit everything in, so next time we will take a picnic, but otherwise... WOW! We are already looking into a full weekend experience with as many of our grands as we can get to visit. This place did not disappoint.

in the last weekThis was a first experience for our family. I was amazed at how close we were to the animals. The interactions we had during feeding the penguins, lemurs, lorikeets, and giraffe were so fun and memorable. I've avoided going due to it being a little pricey for our budget, but I am so thankful we splurged and went. It was worth every bit we paid! I can't wait until our next visit!

2 months agoGreat fun for everyone! Clean and well thought out. The kids loved feeding the animals and seeing them up close and even getting to touch some of them. The parents loved that it was just the right size. Something to see at every turn. The Splash/water park was a hit. It was a nice break from the heat and a chance to eat lunch before finishing up. I would recommend it to everyone.

2 months agoWe had 5 people in our party, with one of us doing the after-hours swimming with penguins. We all reserved tickets beforehand, and we were allowed 5 animal feedings per person. Everything was so cool and the staff were super helpful. I did the lemur feeding twice it was so fun! I highly recommend traveling to Wichita for this park. We traveled over 15 hours just to swim with the penguins and everybody in our party really enjoyed our time there. 10/10.

2 months agoI like that they had a water Park area for the kids. With the 🥵hot weather we've been having. It makes it an easy choice, when choosing between it and the zoo. It's definitely an easy choice. Hands down, I choose Tanganyika! My kids seem to love it! It was definitely hard to get them to go home, do to them having so much fun! It made it a one stop fun filled day for the kids! 🏝️🏖️🏊 One thing I could say that I would like added would be for them to have more designated lifeguards.🏊 Overall a highly recommended! 🕊️🏝️
