I recently had the pleasure of holding a birthday party at Westwind Farm and Fiber, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The farm is a great venue for children's parties, as it can accommodate up to 48 kids.
One thing that stood out to me was how friendly the farm owners and their kids were. They went out of their way to make sure everyone felt welcome and had a great time. Additionally, the owner, Kylee, taught the kids attending the party an interactive lesson about farming and animals, which was both fun and educational.
The farm itself is home to a variety of adorable animals, including baby goats (about three weeks old, not yet weaned), bunnies, pigs, horses, and even alpacas🐰🐷🐥🐴! The baby goats look extremely cute! We had a one year old baby attending the party and even he wants to pet the baby goats! It was heartwarming to see the kids interacting with the animals, learning about their care and getting a hands-on experience.
As if that weren't enough, there was also a bounce house set up on the farm, which provided endless entertainment for the kids.
All in all, Westwind Farm and Fiber is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a fun and educational experience for their children. I highly recommend it!
My husband and I called this Harvest Host in the middle of February, with lots of snow on the ground and bitterly cold. Kylee was so nice on the phone and told us that her husband would clear us off a space! We got there on a Sunday night, and the snow was cleared, and we had a wonderful space to park our 39 foot fifth wheel! These people are so nice and accommodating. I did get to see some of the animals, and of course I had to do a little shopping in their wonderful little gift shop. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stop....hopefully when it is much warmer!
What a great stop! The owners were not only friendly and accommodating but the site itself was wonderful. Everywhere you looked there were seasonal decorations and warmth. The store was full of crafts, yarn, soaps and wearables. My first thoughts were of Chip and Joann - maybe in their earlier stages! I truly hope I get the opportunity to stop again. Thank you so much!
