a month agoWe celebrated my daughter’s second birthday at this beautiful farm! From my first call to Farmer Al to organize the event right up to the event itself, Farmer Al and his wonderful family made our experience so wholesome. The best hospitality we’ve experienced in forever! We chose the Birthday Corral package, and loved the little birthday party nook that came with it. I told Farmer Al that I wanted to put up some decorations and he offered to let us come before our time slot to set everything up - they went above and beyond to make our visit amazing! And the animals and the farm are so well loved and kept. The animals are so gentle, kind, children friendly and love the interaction. Everything was perfect! Playing dress up with the ponies, having her first pony ride, playing with the little goats, bunnies and piggies, riding on a tractor- we had the best day! They also have this little area for a play zone with different farm themed toys that my daughter didn’t want to get out off. The whole place is well organized and taken care of - and the best part of it is that you can feel it’s a family owned and love filled business. So grateful for the experience! Thank you so much Farmel Al and family for giving my daughter the best second birthday💕

3 years agoI’ve been meaning to take my sons for a petting zoo experience and I’ve come across Thistle Hill Farm online. When I found out that they were opening their farm up, I was very excited. They did not disappoint. We had a great time and the kids left with some good memories that they were still talking about in the car on the way back to Edmonton. The owner, “Farmer AL” was very accommodating and gracious, he explained things throughout. My kids were able to pet, feed and groom the animals. My sons were also able to ride the ponies, which were very friendly by the way. The tractor ride was a nice treat at the end. I would highly recommend a trip to his farm and we are definitely planning to visit again in the future. Oh and don’t forget to bring a hat and water bottle when you go.

a month agoThe owners are lovely and amazing! We were the only ones there and they took the time to take us around and made us feel very welcome. The interactive approach with the animals was a treat for my kids. Will definitely be going back back!

2 years agoI can't recommend this place enough! My sister and I went, and even as just 2 adults we had so much fun!! They have written instructions with how to interact with the animals, what to feed them, and what cool things to look for, plus a bag of snacks to feed them! They had all the animals I had hoped a petting zoo would have, plus more. I forget his name, but the farmer/owner was the sweetest host and practically gave us a personal tour. Would highly recommend to adults, kids, families, date night, birthdays, anything 🥰
