4 months agoWe love visiting this place! Their animals are very friendly, and well taken care of. We look forward to returning again, and continuing to watch them grow. It's definitely worth your time to visit and hang out with some sweet animals.

3 months agoWe stumbled across this hidden gem after taking the train ride in Bryson. My daughters spotted it from the train ride and wanted to stop in afterwards. It was only 5 minutes away, how could I say no! The owners were incredibly friendly and the animals looked well loved. The next time we're in the area we will definitely stop in again.

5 months agoWe had a wonderful time this morning at the petting zoo! The owners were amazing and the animals were very friendly. This was probably the cleanest petting zoo we have ever been to and the animals were clearly very well taken care of! Thank you for a wonderful time and for your incredible hospitality! We will be back!

a month agoTuckasegee Farm Animal Rescue and Petting Zoo was the best place to go without spending a lot of money. We were staying in Cherokee and the 20 minute drive there was worth it. Admission was $10 a person, but it was worth it! Joshua Anthony (the owner) was great! He told my son and I all about the goats, sheep, and bunnies he had. He told us the names and facts about them as well. My 4 year old son loved the baby goats that followed him around. The animals were super sweet. Joshua also let us feed them. My son had a blast and loved all the animals. Some people might mind the price, and think it’s too much, but I didn’t see it that way. The animals are well taken care of and are so sweet! You do have to park in designated parking and cross the road to get there (no big deal). The intersection was a little busy, but again, no big deal!! If we are ever back this way, we will come again.

a week agoMy little kids had a lovely little time wandering around and petting the many gentle animals. I enjoyed watching them and petting them myself! This small operation was just right for us. It felt safe and friendly, and there was adequate shade.
