2 months agoOmg, this place was AWESOME!!!! We had a blast. We totally recommend getting at least 2 bags of feed if you really want to feed a lot of the animals for 2 people. The zebra-donkey was my favorite animal in the park... He took my cup but it was funny . We very much enjoyed the experience. The ladies behind the counter were super awesome, and sweet. Very wonderful southern hospitality ♥. Great place for family fun.

2 months agoThis park was easily 5 stars. We stopped on a whim during a roadtrip and it was 100% worth it. We did a guided tour with Heath and he was fantastic! He knew all the animals and their names & pointed out the mamas with their new babies. He made sure we saw the animals but was also still respectful if they didn't want to say hello. It was very clean and all the animals had plenty of space to roam with fresh water. The birds inside were a "hoot" to talk with. We will definitely be back. Thank you Heath!

3 months agoI recently visited Wild Country Safari Park in Richland Parish, Louisiana with my family, and I cannot recommend it enough! The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. The way they interacted with both the animals and visitors showed a genuine passion for what they do. Our kids had an amazing time exploring the park and interacting with the adorable animals. The variety of species and the up-close encounters made the trip truly memorable for them. It was a perfect blend of education and entertainment that kept them engaged throughout the visit. Overall, Wild Country Safari Park exceeded our expectations, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. It's a must-visit destination for families looking to have a fun and educational day out in Louisiana.

11 months agoThe other drive yourself through Safari Park I have been to did not allow any feeding of animals and more variety of animals. That said, this was pretty darn cool seeing the animals look you right in the eye all up close and personal. It was like they were staring into my soul. Relatively inexpensive. I would recommend if you are doing other things in the area, not necessarily making a special trip just for this.

a year agoWe had my sons birthday party here and it was such a wonderful experience. This was our first time visiting but it most definitely will not be our last. The staff is so friendly and accommodating!! They decorated for us and it looked awesome! We got to go on a guided tour to see and feed the animals and then got food to bring to the petting zoo! The kids and adults had a blast!!! If you’re looking for a place to have a party or just a fun thing to do with your kiddos I highly highly recommend you visit Wild Country! It was a very sweet experience and I can’t wait to go back!!
